Got ARTS, Maricopa?
The exciting new project of Maricopa ARTS Council (MAC)
Beginning September 2016, Got ARTS, Maricopa? will permanently invigorate the city, launch a new era in Maricopa arts, and freshly identify the city as a true metropolis.
The EXPO includes performances, arts-immersion experiences, public-participation events for all ages - and more. And it capitalizes on Maricopa's own wealth
of home-grown artistic talent.
All events are open to the public, several arepublic-participation events, and most will be FREE.
All Art forms are represented: Music, Dance, Theatre, Poetry, Film, and the many varieties of Visual Arts. The artistry of Maricopa's own Artists and Art Organizations will be featured at every event.
Arts events new to our city include: Studio Crawls, Poetry Slams, Short-Short Original Film contest, Student Choreographers competition, Chalk-Art Weekend, Pop-up Art Galleries in empty storage spaces, World-Music Showcase, Performance
showcases in Music, Dance and Theatre, 'Inside the Creative Mind' up-close and personal lecture Series, a "peek behind the curtain" to meet the support staff so critical to the success of any production --and more!
New Artist-Business alliances are embedded in the formats of several Got ARTS events, and through this immersive EXPO significant new economic activity will be generated, along with sparking tourism and new investment.

The total EXPO cost is about $1 per Maricopa resident. The funds will go entirely towards venue rental, videography and sound recording, printing and publicity, instrument rentals, and Artist fees.
Every penny of the $50,000 budget must be raised. Maricopa ARTS Council needs your donation to make this Arts-Spectacular a reality.
